Wonderful CookiesIngredients1 lb butter1 cup very fine sugar½ lb finely ground almonds4 cups white flour1 cup very fine sugar (use food processor).15 oz pure ground vanilla bean 
Directions
Soften butter, cream w/ sugar, add nuts, stir in flour gradually.
Roll handful into a snake, throw onto cutting board to flatten one side.
Cut into coins, shape into crescents.
Lightly grease pan.
Bake at 350.  I have two or three pans going in rotation.
Remove to cookie rack when tips are just beginning to turn brown.
In couple minutes, dip in sugar/vanilla mix.
4 days in tin minimum!
